I criticize it literally all the fucking time of course it needs work the way it currently functions is absurd.

But for the cows? It’s fine. All anyone cares about are the cows. Plenty of laws and regulations and audits to make sure the cows are ok. Dairy cows live good lives, end of. You can piss and moan and cry as much as you want but at the end of the day the cow’s well-being means more to anyone in the industry than anything else.

Anything else including human workers. Who are less cute and therefore get less advocacy. You don’t see dairy PR people praising their worker’s rights policies, no, it’s alllllll about the cows. The animals are the one thing the dairy industry gets right. Everything else needs work.

You ever see posts about dairy worker mistreatments on social media? You ever look through the comments? I have! And every single v*gan that comments is always like “yeah well THE COWS though”. Where are our advocates? Why is it that cows with comfortable beds, 24/7 access to highly nutritious feed, free medical and childcare, and an entire nation of people literally willing to kill on their behalf are the main concern here?!
